Why FeedLand?

This question came up in my weekly chat with Christie earlier today.

Why is A8C offering FeedLand as a service?

There are still a lot of users and feeds, and new sources of feeds, from Mastodon, and other social networks. In other words, RSS is moving again.

I made a new platform to do new stuff with feeds. By doing this work closely together and openly, we can get important new features for users wherever the feeds come from and wherever they’re read. From WordPress, other content systems, feed readers, and now from social media.

Lots of interop and lots of opportunities for progress.

How does that sound?
